I purposely do not proscribe to any one style of yoga. I believe that yoga is all really, "one thing" and most importantly yoga should be a balanced practice that returns your mind and your body to its natural state of health and well being. If you are getting hurt or feeling pain during your yoga practice, you are practicing the wrong way, with the wrong teacher! In my teaching I constantly reiterate that pain is always a sign from your body that something is wrong and you should never ignore these signs in favor of the, "No Pain, No Gain" paradigm. I feel the need to reiterate this so much because many people are desensitized to pain. If you are getting hurt practicing yoga, you are not actually practicing yoga. If you are not breathing properly, you are not actually practicing yoga.
I promise to always provide a loving and nurturing, non-competitive atmosphere for all of my students.
